The Swish and Flick Story

One night, a young Muggle woman named Aleah contemplated her plans for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II, and imagined how she could celebrate this momentous occasion. From the movie marathon to homemade butterbeer, she finally began to think of what she could wear. Sadly, she'd never been able to afford a wand that satisfied her desire for authentic Harry Potter style, and creativity.

After a long, exhausting internet search, she realized that perhaps the best option was to make a wand herself. She wrangled her twin sister Jillian, an artist, and her younger sister Kelsey, both of whom are Potter-obsessed, and Swish and Flick Wands was born.

We aren't professionals. We make our wands in our living room, using an array of household objects and art supplies. There will always be small imperfections in our wands. But we hope that, if you're looking for a good, creative wand that looks like you could find it in the Potter-verse, we hope you'll give us a try.
